Below are some facts and policies that will help prepare you for working with Move Easy.
Arrival/ Departure
Our schedule is designed to offer each client their very own time of importance. Please arrive on time for the best experience. If you arrive early, please wait in our waiting area until your therapist greets you. Sessions begin and end at your scheduled time. Sessions will not be extended for late arrivals. Timely departure is expected once the session is complete. Please let us know if you need assistance upon arrival or departure. We want to help. Sessions are billed in full and never prorated.
Attire
Attire depends on your session type. For Movement and Integrated Sessions, please wear comfortable, loose fitting, workout type clothing, such as t-shirt and shorts. Tight fitting clothing and sports bras can hinder some body work. For Unwind Sessions, you will undress to your degree of comfort to be completely draped with a sheet. "Your comfort level" of undress is dictated by you. It is perfectly acceptable to remain partially or fully covered. Please talk to your therapist if you have questions about what works best with your particular session goals.
Preparation/ What to bring
The most important thing to bring to a session is your readiness to improve your wellness with an open heart and mind. It is important that you do not receive body therapy while intoxicated. If you are taking any prescription or over the counter medications, let your therapist know so they can consider the medication in their plan of care and adjust their methods to best fit you. We ask for you to refrain from smoking or wearing fragrance prior to sessions. If you would like to protect your hair or pull it back, you are welcome to bring your favorite accessories. While we do provide the needed tools and linens for your sessions, sometimes you have favorite items you want to bring along. Items you may bring if desired could include: a special oil or lotion, personal body brush, robe or towel, kinesio tape, sports wraps...
Session Expectations
Session Expectations: Upon booking a session, you will receive an email confirmation and intake form. Complete intake forms prior to your session to be reviewed with your therapist. Your therapist will work with you to design a custom wellness plan to help you meet your goals. Each session includes consultation, evaluation, therapeutic body work and aftercare guidance all within your scheduled time. The more detail you provide on your intake forms, the better your therapist can provide your therapy. If you do not complete the intake form upon booking, you will be asked to fill it out at the beginning of your session on site which would reduce therapy time.
Guests
Chaperones Minors
Please do not bring guests or children to sessions. It is not permissable to have them remain unattended in the waiting area during sessions. If a minor is receiving a session, they must have written consent from a parent or guardian and the therapist must speak with said guardian prior to session to discuss expectations and wellness goals. Chaperones are permitted and encouraged to attend with minors and disabled clients as suitable for their care and welfare. Couples or joint participant sessions are not available.
Cancellations Illness
Inclement Weather
We have 48 hour notice policy to cancel appointments with the exception of illness or inclement weather, which may be rescheduled. It is our policy to charge full price for no shows, last minute cancellations, or changed appointment changes under 48 hours notice. Cancellations made prior to the 48 hour window, will receive a store credit for a future service or be rescheduled. Therapists will notify clients when cancellations occur due to either illness or inclement weather on their part as well and work to reschedule you. Sessions do not occur if either party is or appears to be ill. Therapists must maintain the safest conditions possible for all clients and reserve the right to reschedule if they suspect illness at anytime before or during a session. All sales are final and refunds are not provided.
Payment
Payment in full is required at time of booking through Square. Move Easy operates with a flat rate service and does not have added charges for features such as hot stones or cupping. Move Easy does not accept tips nor charge additional card or admin fees.
